11 Days 10 Nights Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1 – Nairobi/Amboseli

Pick up from your hotel by our driver guide who will drive you to Amboseli National Park at the foot of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro. Lunch then a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 2 – Amboseli

Full day game drives next to the magnificent mountain. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3 – Amboseli/Abedare National Park

Following your morning breakfast, checkout and depart for Mount Kenya with lunch enroute in one of the restaurants along the way. You will reach in the late afternoon at the lodge for check-in. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 4 – Aberdare/Mount Kenya/Samburu

After breakfast, continue north across the equator to the Northern Frontier to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife including Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. Continue for lunch at the Lodge/camp. Thereafter, proceed for afternoon game drive.Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 5 – Samburu

Full day to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 6 – Samburu/Lake Baringo

Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls down to Lake Bogoria. Later drive to the beautiful lake Baringo. Evening bird walk. The Lake Bogoria National Reserve covers 107 km sq and is easily reached from either Nakuru or Lake Baringo. It is better to visit the Lake either in the early morning or late evening, as it is fiercely hot at midday and so staying in the area is probably the best option. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 7 – Baringo/Lake Nakuru

Morning boat ride on the lake. Lunch, then drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru. Gamedrive.  The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 8 – Nakuru/Maasai Mara

Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai Mara. Lunch and later an afternoon gamedrive.  The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with bird life since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 9/10 – Maasai Mara

Two full days to experience the Mara magic! Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its phenomenal wildlife. You may want to ride in a Balloon over game before landing for a Champagne Breakfast at an extra cost of US$450 per person. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp

Day 11 – Maasai Mara/Nairobi

Early morning game drive then return to Nairobi with en-route lunch, arriving Nairobi in late afternoon where you will be dropped at your Hotel or airport.
